Patricia Rossello's Obituary
Patricia Rossello, of Upper Deerfield Twp., passed away late Thursday evening in Jefferson University Hospital. She had been in declining health for several years. She was 69 years old. Born August 12, 1951 in Bridgeton, NJ she was the daughter of the late Frederick Francis and Barbara Ellen Morris Pierce.
Pat was a lifelong resident of the Bridgeton area and had worked for several years as a seamstress at Major Clothing in Bridgeton. She was a lifelong member of St. John United Methodist Church Fordville, and an active member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Indian Tribe of Bridgeton where she served for many years on the Tribal Council. Her dedication and commitment to the tribe was evident in many of the accomplishments she and other council members tirelessly worked for during her service. She was instrumental in grant writing, researching geneology, sewing and designing regalia for Pow Wows, and baking and cooking for gatherings. During her time on council, the current land and buildings on the Tribal ground in Fairifield Twp. were acquired. She loved her family, her grandchildren, and extended tribal family and friends. She’s survived by her children, Vincent Williams and Tina, Brian Rossello and Andrea, Kimberly Rossello and Shawn, and Melissa Williams and Rashawn, three brothers, Alfred Pierce, Michael Pierce, and Anthony Pierce and wife Rose, thirteen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sister in laws, Deborah Pierce and Michelle Pierce. Funeral services will be on December 19, 2020 at 1:00 pm , from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME . The interment will be in Fordville Memorial Park, Fairfield Twp. Friends may call from 12:00 till 1:00 pm prior to the services.
