Patricia R. Sheppard's Obituary
Patricia R. Sheppard , 74 of Bridgeton passed away suddenly on Thursday morning September 29, 2011 in South Jersey Extended Care, Bridgeton. Although she had been in failing health, her death was unexpected.
Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Hazel nee Hess Rider, and the wife of the late Russell C. Sheppard who passed away in 2008. Pat had been a resident of the area for all her life and had worked assisting her late husband with the operation of the Russell C. Sheppard Funeral Homes, in Bridgeton and Quinton Twp. She also previously had worked at the Hallmark Store in the Hopewell Shopping Center. In her younger years she enjoyed, and was an accomplished ice skater, she also enjoyed listening to music and quiet times with a good book, but mostly she enjoyed her time spent with her loving daughter, Stephanie and husband Jeffrey, and her beloved cat Mr. C., who was taken in from the streets when he was just a kitten. Patricia enjoyed life, her family and many friends. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Quinzer and her husband Jeffrey of Hopewell Twp., two brothers Bruce Rider and his wife Joan of Bridgeton, John Rider and his wife Katherine of California, her sister Wanda Lowe and her husband Neal of South Carolina, a long time child hood friend Joanne Balinkie of Arizona and her beloved cat Mr. C.
