Patricia Ann Mosley-Hughes' Obituary
Patricia “Patsy” Ann Mosley-Hughes, 84, of Vineland passed early Monday evening October 9, 2023 at her home under Hospice Care and surrounded by her loving family. She had been in declining health for the past three years.
Born August 12, 1939 in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of the late Phillip H. and Beatrice C. Durham Mosley and the wife of the late Rod Hughes.
Patsy grew up in Greenwich and was one of thirteen children. She graduated from Bridgeton High School and worked as a seamstress for the Siebel and Stern Sewing Factory in Bridgeton until their closing. She then worked for several years until her retirement at Santa;s Best in Vineland. She and her late husband Rod loved dancing and were quite the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers on the dance floor in their day. She loved shopping and decorating her lovely home for the Christmas holiday. After the death of her husband, she enjoyed spending time going for coffee runs at Wawa, dining out, and trips to Lancaster with her companion Tony DiBerardino. She loved entertaining and gatherings with her family and friends, and mostly she enjoyed raising her three sons and watching them grow into adulthood and providing for their own families. Patsy was a generous and loving wife, mother, friend, and grandmother, who always was concerned with the welfare of others. She will be missed.
Surviving her are her sons: Ben Lee Coker Jr and his wife Jeanette of Vineland and Jerry Coker Sr. of Vorhees, her brothers, Raymond Mosley of Hopewell Twp., and Bruce Mosley of Florida, her companion Tony DiBerardino, six grandchildren, Ben Lee Coker III, Amy McDade, Brittany Kerr, Kayla Coker, Jazmin Bragg, and Jerry Coker Jr., and thirteen great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Besides her parents and late husband Rod, she was predeceased by her son Terry J. Coker, brothers, Phillip Mosley, Harold Mosley, Donald Mosley, Gary Mosley, Charles Mosley, and Waldon “Tony” Mosley, her sisters, Barbara Moore, Betty Durham, Carol Carney, and Mary Lou Mosley.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday October 19, 2023 at 11:00 am from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME. The interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cedarville following services at the funeral home. A visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 9:30 am till 11:00.
