Patty was a great friend to me. We worked together for many years, along with Harriet Darrisaw, in the intake unit in Bridgeton. Between the three of us, we had our system down and had our unit operating smoothly. So smoothly in fact that Greg Banks used to refer to us as the "gauntlet"! I will never forget that. Over the years we kept in touch and I could always call Patty if I needed "eyes" in Bridgeton to look at a file. She also always kept her Intake roots and would help out by taking applications for me in the Bridgeton Office. That spoke alot about her professionalism and willingness to help out. Patty taught all of us a great lesson in the way she lived these past few months. The good in each day is what we chose to make of it.
