Patricia Ann Davis' Obituary
Patricia Ann Davis, of Deerfield Twp., passed Sunday afternoon January 29, 2023 at her residence with family by her side and under the care of Hospice. She was 83 years old. Born February 13, 1939 to the late Frederick and Georgeanna Sutton Wheaton and the wife of the late Daney M. Davis Jr who passed away in 2021. She and her late husband had been area residents of Deerfield Twp. for close to 60 years.
Pat was formerly employed as a secretary and office manager in the law office of Warren Lummis Esq., and later with the Lummis Krell Baker Law Firm. She was also employed at the Cumberland County Unemployment Office, and lastly Dr. D’Arrigo’s medical office until her retirement. She and Daney were members of the Rosenhayn United Methodist Church. Pat enjoyed restoring furniture to its’ original look and beauty.
She was a devoted loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived to cherish her memory by her three daughters: Barbara Grasser and her husband Adam of Upper Deerfield, Diane May of Hopewell Twp., Sherri Orr and her husband Ricky also of Hopewell, her brother and sisters, Ronald Wheaton of Cedarville, Cathy Tomlinson of Minnesota, Linda Holt and her husband Chris of Upper Deerfield, her six grandchildren, Mike Grasser, Meaghan Grasser, Eric Orr, Zachery May, Lexi Grasser, and Adalyn Wolbert. Besides her husband Daney, Pat was predeceased by a brother Fred Wheaton, a son in law Gary May and grandson Travis L. Wolbert, both in 2020. At Pat’s request no funeral services will be held.
