Parker A. Custis' Obituary
Parker A. "Skip" Custis Sr., 58 of Bridgeton passed away Saturday evening January 8, 2011 at the home of his sister in Fairfield Twp. under the care of hospice. He had been in failing health for the past eight months.
Born and raised in Bridgeton, he was the son of the late Peter and Doris nee Ridgway Custis and had previously lived in Georgia for 20 years. Parker was an avid football fan and was a big Atlanta Falcons fan, he also enjoyed watching NASCAR. Surviving him are his children Parker A. Custis Jr., Tyjuan Custis, Parker Hardy, Maurice Custis, Robin Custis, Crystal Custis, Tre'vain Custis, and Savion Custis, his two sisters Lorraine Johnson of Fairfield Twp., and Carol Stevenson and her husband James of Millville, his only living aunt Dorothy Lebron of Hopewell Twp., and several grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter Jessica Hardy, and a grandson, who both died while Jessica was giving birth.
