Natalie L. "Silver Feather" Ridgway's Obituary
Natalie L. “Silver Feather” Ridgway, aged 78 years, of Alloway passed away suddenly on Tuesday evening June 6, 2017 in Golden Rehabilitation and Nursing home in Mannington Twp.
Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of the late Dupont Sr. and Mary (nee Pearce) Mosley, and the wife of the late Kenneth W. “ Like An Eagle Watching” Ridgway who passed in 2007.
Natalie was the former owner for over 25 years of Natalie’s Turquoise Treasures, a Native American owned and operated jewelry store which was located originally in Hopewell Twp. and later out of her home in Alloway. She loved traveling with her late husband Ken, her aunt Betty Edwards, sister in law Dorcas Reed, and good friends Paul and Liz Ridgway. She also enjoyed trips to Lancaster with the girls. She was a proud member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Indian Tribe of Bridgeton and enjoyed going to Pow Wows in various states. She also enjoyed cooking meals for her family and friends. Above all, she loved her family, especially the grand and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Dr. Kenneth D. Ridgway and his wife Robin of Indiana, and Natalyn Wilmore and husband Carl of Alloway, her three grandchildren: Jessica Velez, Chappy Wilmore, Katie Ridgway, and three great grands: Isabella Velez, Aubrey Wilmore, and Trent Wilmore.
She was predeceased besides her parents and husband by one brother, Dupont Mosley Jr., and three sisters: Sarah Gould, Carolyn Pritchett and Mary Jane Cannon.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday June 10, 2017 at 11:00a.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. A visitation will be held from 10:00a.m. – 11:00a.m. at the funeral home prior to the services. The interment will be in Overlook Cemetery, Bridgeton.
