Myrtle Katherine Coggins' Obituary
Myrtle Katherine Kathy Coggins, 50 of Pittsgrove , passed away Thursday May 31, 2007 in Cooper Medical Center, Camden , surrounded by her family after a long battle with Leiomyosarcoma, a rare cancer.
Kathy was devoted and loving to her whole family. She especially enjoyed spending time at the beach and she took much pleasure in gardening, baking, antiquing, and making crafts. She touched the lives of everyone she met and was loved by all that knew her.
Kathy is survived by Loyce Butch Rice, and James Chad Coggins, Sr. She is also survived by her five children James Chad Coggins , Jr. and his wife Nicole, William Coggins, Jarid Coggins and his wife Alissa, Joshua Coggins and Merisa Coggins. Her four grandchildren Nathan, Alexandra Lexy, Jacob, and Jarid J.J.. Her four sisters, Joan Esling and her husband Harry from Croyden, PA, Marie Halter and her husband Charlie from Schwanksville, PA, Betty Ritter and her husband Richard from Pittsgrove, NJ, and Margaret Cohen and her husband Neal from Holland, PA, and several nieces , nephews, cousins, and other family members.
Kathy was predeceased by her parents William and Elizabeth Ragan and her brother Anthony Ragan.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 227 Husted Station Rd. in Pittsgrove, NJ at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes contributions be made to the Leiomyosarcoma Cancer Fund.
