Minnie McNeil's Obituary
Minnie McNeil of Bridgeton passed away suddenly and unexpected on Friday morning August 30, 2019 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. She was 78 years old. Born in Gaffney, South Carolina June 7, 1941, she was the daughter of Mattie Smith and the late Wilson Reid, and the wife of the late Earl McNeil who passed away in 1981. Minnie was a area resident for the past 71 years after moving up from the South. She found employment as a packer at Owens Illinois from 1960 till 1982 prior to its closing. She then went to work with Kimble Glass in Millville from 1986 till 2001. Minnie enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City and going to the casino's.
Besides her mother Mattie, she is survived by her children, Jackie McNeil, Anthony McNeil, Lolita McNeil, and Yvette Cooper, three sisters, Lucille Dawkins, Henrietta Walker, Vivian Johnson, and brother, Alonzo Smith, seven grandchildren, Takisha Stafford, Kiauna Bryant, Jashika McNeil,Jeremy McNeil, Karon Cooper, Xzavier Vinson, Frank Cooper Jr. seventeen great grandchildren, Jada Stafford Jadaia, Onysti McNeil, Eunique Cooper, Aijanae Kennedy, Kahsani McNeil, Amora Davis, Anayjah Cooper, Naturi Gillis, Aazeem Jackson, Ahjee Cooper, Tyrone "TJ" Sheppard Jr., Karon Cooper Jr., Alayzha Vinson, Amora McNeil, Jayce McNeil, Seven McNeil, Summer McNeil and a host of nieces, nephews, and various other relatives.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday September 6, 2019 at 11:00a.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll's Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. Interment will be in Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell Twp. A visitation will be held from 10:00 till 11:00a.m. prior to the services.
