Michael J. Stierle Sr.'s Obituary
Michael J. Stierle, 52 of Upper Pittsgrove Twp., passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on Thursday morning November 17, 2016.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 28, 1964 to Adam Stierle and the late Mary Ann (nee Crosson) Stierle; and he was the husband of Margie (nee Brennan) Stierle. Mike grew up and attended Catholic School in the Philadelphia area. His family moved to New Jersey when he was 10 years old and he started working in the flooring business at an early age. He was working at the Carpet Factory Outlet in Barrington and at the age of 19 decided to become self employed in the industry. Mike worked for several years as an independent contractor, and in 2006 he and his wife Margie purchased Orrs Floor Coverings in Upper Deerfield Twp. Mike's work ethic and drive for perfection was always visible, he was a dedicated and skilled installer in all types of flooring. He loved fishing, and especially loved the outdoors, and also working on cars. He was currently restoring his 1983 Camaro. He enjoyed trips with his family and even more so, being able to provide for them. Surviving him is his wife Margie, his children, Michael Stierle Jr., and Allyson Stierle, his father, Adam Stierle of Deptford, three brothers, Adam Stierle Jr. and his wife Lynn of Downingtown, PA, David Stierle and his wife Nancy of Gibbstown, NJ, and Christopher Stierle of Deptford. He was predeceased besides his mother by a sister, Mary Ann Stierle. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday November 23, 2016 at 10:00a.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 8:30. Friends may also call on Wednesday morning from 9:00a.m. to 10:00 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
