Mary E. Lewis' Obituary
Mary E. " Betty" nee Smith Lewis, age 90 of Fairton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 17, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She had been in declining health for the past five years, but her death was sudden.
Born April 21, 1921 in Bridgeton, to the late Beach and Mable neeWallace Smith, she was a graduate of Middle Township High School, Cape May Court House, NJ. Following high school, she graduated from Maison de Paris Cosmetology School in Camden, NJ. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Arthur, and her three children Frank and his wife Donna of Fairton, Jerry and his wife Betty of Hopewell Township, and Suzan at home. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Megan Harsh Boomer of Hagerstown, MD, Peter Lewis Erica of Cedarville, NJ, Renee Avis David of Cary, NC, Chad Lewis of Marmora, NJ and Andrew Lewis of Encinitas, CA, and five great grandchildren Ryann, Emerson, and Colton Lewis, Reagan and Kennedy Avis. She was predeceased besides her parents by her sisters Thelma Cryder and Bess Brooks.
