To: Donna Winchester-Thompson, the Winchester and Battle families.
I certainly had mixed feelings when you shared with me that Aunt Margaret went home to be with the Lord. On one hand, I was saddened that she had to leave us. On the other hand, I was overwhelmed with joy when I thought about her being at peace; being with the many loved ones who preceded her; being able to "...walk around heaven all day..." and being able to be in the new home that The Lord prepared for her. Yes, she is healed and her faith has become SIGHT. She can SEE; not only the things I just mentioned but she can SEE her Lord and Savior for herself. Hallelujah!!!
What wonderful accomplishments she made during her one hundred (plus) years! As I read her obituary, I couldn't help but marvel at ALL her achievements and the many things in which she was involved. Being sightless was not a hinderance for her. What a great legacy she has left!
Of course, Donna, I commend you on the wonderful care you gave your mother. You put your life on "hold" to make sure she got the best. God's reward for you is great!
My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
