Margaret E. Pierce's Obituary
Margaret E. Pierce, 83 of Greenwich Twp. passed away Thursday morning March 27, 2008 in South Jersey Regional Medical Center, Vineland where she had been a patient since Tuesday. She had been in failing health for the past two months, but her death was unexpected.
Born in Gouldtown, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Anna nee Carney Gould and the wife of Calvin "Blake" Pierce. She was a long time resident of the Greenwich area. Mrs. Pierce was a homemaker and she enjoyed crocheting, camping, family outings and picnics, and flowers. She especially enjoyed traveling to the Atlantic City Casinos with friends and family. She was a member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Indian Tribe of Bridgeton and a member of the Colonial Riders Motorcycle Club. Surviving her besides her husband Calvin of 63 years are two daughters Anna T. Pierce and her husband Charles of Fairton, and Margaret L. Miller and her husband Albert of Hopewell Twp., five grandchildren Roberta Flores, Calvin Jones, Michelle Miller, Albert Miller Jr., and Christine Miller, and eight great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by two brothers Wilbert "Jr." Gould, and Jesse J. "Dewby" Gould, and two sisters Catherine Mosley, and Isabelle Green.
