Margaret J. "Peggy" Cossaboon's Obituary
Margaret J. "Peggy" Cossaboon of Millville passed away late Tuesday evening July 21, 2020 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland where she had been a patient for the past week. She was 67 years old. Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of the late Tilghman Daniel Sr. and Hester Ann Cuff Ridgway, and the wife of James "Buster" Cossaboon.
Peggy and Buster had just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on the 2nd of July.
Peggy was a Certified Nurses Aide and had worked for 28 years until her retirement for the former Bridgeton Nursing Center, now South Jersey Extended Care. She was a proud member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Indian Tribe and a long time member of St. John United Methodist Church, Fordville. She loved doing arts and crafts and watching television. Mostly she loved being with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband James, her son, Noah Cossaboon, one sister Beulah "Bonnie" Watters of Fairton, her brother Thomas Ridgway of Reno, Nevada, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased besides her mother and father by two brothers Tilghman Daniel Ridgway Jr., and William "Billy" Ridgway. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday July 29, 2020 at 1:00p.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll's Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. A viewing will be held from 12:00 till 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Social distancing and masks are required. Burial will take place in the Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Hopewell Twp.
