Maggie E. Harris' Obituary
Maggie E. Harris of Fairfield Twp. passed away early Tuesday morning in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland where she had been a patient for the past three weeks. She was 93 years old.
Born in Baker, Florida August 23, 1929 to the late John and Josephine (Lucas) McNair, and the wife of the late Ellsworth Harris who passed in 1986. She had been an area resident since 1948 moving from Florida.
Maggie was a lifetime member of the Church of God Church in Bridgeton for over 75 years. She worked for a little over 24 years at Wheaton Glass in Millville in the select packing department, and had previously worked at Manischewitz in Vineland. She loved cooking for her family and friends, and restoring furniture in her home. She mostly loved spending time with her children and their families.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Glory Hickman, Katherine Dennis and her husband Leroy, Orra Mae Hickman and her husband Everett, Eleanor Harris, Elross Harris, Rita Lynn Stevens, and Jeffrey Harris and his wife Patricia, her sibling Shirley McNair, twenty two grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, seventeen great great grands, and one great great great. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by three sons, Michael, Alvin, and Bruce Harris, and her siblings, Leroy, Arbade, Houston, Willie Edward, Session, Kermit, Curtis, Mildred, Eunice, and two grandchildren Alexander Hickman Jr. and Antina Franks.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday December 10, 2022 at 11:00am from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carrl's Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp.. A visitation will be held from 9:00 till 11:00am prior to the services. Interment will take place in Fordville Memorial Park, Fairfield Twp.
