Lydia Munson's Obituary
Lydia Munson 89 of Bridgeton, passed away on Tuesday evening in South Jersey Healthcare Bridgeton Inpatient Hospice Care, where she had been a patient for the past week.
Born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Odell and Georgianna Mott Pride, and the ex wife of the late Leroy Munson. She had been an area resident since 1945.
Lydia was formerly employed as a cook in the former Renaissance Nursing Center. She enjoyed watching all kinds of sports and being around children. She also enjoyed sewing.
She is survived by her seven children Leroy Munson of Bridgeton, Judith Johnson of Cheswold, Delaware, Rajeeyah Cheryl Bashir of Lawrenceville, NJ, Karl Munson of Pittsgrove Twp., Edwin Munson of Fairfield Twp., Lydia L. Munson of Hanover, Maryland, and Marvin Munson of Millville, her 25 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Louise Williams.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Monday February 25, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp. A viewing will be held from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. prior to the services. The interment will be in Fordville Memorial Park, Fairfield Twp.
