Lillian Bliemegger's Obituary
Lillian Mae Bliemegger was an incredible, strong, and compassionate woman. She was born and raised in many areas of Philadelphia on her family farm owned by her loving departed parents, Lillian and Harry Woodington. She moved to New Jersey after she married and raised three beautiful daughters who embodied the willpower, independence, and love of animals that Lillian passed down to them. She was always on the sidelines at her children’s, grand children’s and great grandson sporting, gymnastic and musical events. She loved the Jersey Shore and walking on the beach.
She worked at home on her farm and at Charles River Labs, Rock Ten and Vineland Labs to support her family over the years but retired and lived in Bridgeton with her daughter Loraine. She had several special animals during her retirement and credits Cyrus opening her heart to owning a boy dog and Otis for being her very best companion ever.
Lillian lived her life on her terms raising her children as a single mom and empowering all those around her by encouraging them to be their own person through love and guidance. She valued the people around her but kept her inner circle small with her influence going through each of her family members and reaching far beyond her wise words and kind nature. She will be missed by all who knew her, but she will always be by each family members side guiding them in her own way.
Lillian joins her parents Harry S. Woodington and Lillian B. (Streit )Woodington and loving brother Harry Woodington all of whom she missed terribly over the years after their passing. Lillian is survived by her daughters; Loretta Brewer, Loraine Bliemegger (Jimmy Dugan) and Leanore Attarian. She leaves behind four Grandchildren; Melissa Corash (Peter Corash), Jordan Attarian (Michael Whited), Steven Paul (Alar Paul) and Josh Attarian as well as a Great Grand Son; Colton Corash. All who have been gifted the same love of animals from their Grandmom. Anyone wanting to honor her LIFE can donate to St. Jude or any Animal Rescue.
