Leslie H. Pierce's Obituary
Leslie H. Pierce aged 75 years of Fairfield Twp. passed away suddenly at home on Saturday morning June 2, 2018. His death was sudden and unexpected.
Born in Salem, he was the son of the late William Leslie and Olive Mae (nee Brown) Pierce, and the husband of the late Evelyn Louise (nee Robinson) Pierce who passed away in 2002. Mr. Pierce had been an area resident for many years.
Les was employed as a construction worker with Teamsters Union 676 for 31 years until his retirement. He enjoyed being with his family and especially his grandchildren, teaching them each how to drive and good work ethics. He enjoyed watching TV evangelists. He was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Leslie S. Pierce Sr., brothers, William Lewis Pierce, Frank L. Pierce, David R. Pierce, Major J. Pierce, his sister Emma P. Price, grandchildren Leslie S. Pierce Jr., Victoria S. Pierce, Julia Angela Pierce, Isaiah E. Pierce, a list of great grandchildren and his former daughter in law Rhonda Pierce, whom he had a special bond with.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday morning at 11:00a.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp.. The interment will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Hopewell Twp. Friends may call on Friday morning one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
