Kristie Lynn Pierce's Obituary
Kristie Lynn Pierce
May 29, 1977 – March 7, 2026
Kristie Lynn Pierce, 48, of Millville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Bridgeton on May 29, 1977, she was the beloved daughter of Major Pierce and the late Dianna Pierce (née Matthews). Kristie’s sudden departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of her family and friends.
For many years, Kristie was a familiar and friendly face at the local ShopRite, where she served as a Customer Service Representative. Outside of career, she was a parishioner of The Parish of The Holy Cross and regularly could be found attending mass and other events at St Teresa of Avila Church. She also was a proud member of the Nanticoke Lenni- Lenape Tribal Nation and enjoyed attending the annual Pow-Wow and volunteering time to tribal events. Kristie was a woman of action who believed in the power of helping others. She was a dedicated volunteer and found deep fulfillment in acts of service, constantly seeking out ways to uplift those around her. Her selfless nature made her a cornerstone of support for her family and the community alike.
In her downtime, Kristie enjoyed reading, music and singing, and watching her favorite daytime TV soap operas. She found particular joy in the bright resilience of sunflowers and the steady grace of turtles. Above all else, Kristie’s heart belonged to her family. She would proudly tell anyone that her time was best spent in the company of those she loved. She held a deep bond with her late mother, Dianna, and found her greatest happiness alongside her father, her brother, her children, and eventually, her precious grandchildren.
Kristie’s memory is left to be cherished by her father Major Pierce, brother Matthew Pierce, three children Arianna, Angel, and Luz Lozada- Pierce, and three grandchildren Avani Lozada- Rodriguez, Elizabeth Kingsland, and Jahseh Lozada- Pierce amongst a host of additional family, friends, and extended Shop- Rite family.
Kristie was predeceased by her mother Dianna Pierce, who passed in September 2025.
Kristie will be deeply missed and her life was a gift of service to others; may we honor her by practicing the kindness she showed every day. While there will be no formal services, a celebration of life will be tentatively planned on the date of Kristie’s first heavenly birthday May 29, 2026 at the Nanticoke Lenni- Lenape tribal grounds located on 75 Wescott Station Road in Fairton Township.
