Kikue Taguwa's Obituary
Kikue (Terazawa) Taguwa, 87 passed away Tuesday evening February 19, 2013 in the Millville Center Genesis. She was born in Warm Springs, California to the late Yuichi and Yukino N. Terazawa, and was the wife of the late William T. Taguwa whom she married in 1946. Bill passed away in 1979.
After World War II Kiki moved to Minnesota, where she worked in an office for the University of Minnesota. Later in life she moved again to New Jersey where she worked for Seabrook Farms, Wheaton Glass, and finally Owens Illinois for 27 years as a secretary. She also previously worked for the Onized Federal Credit Union. She was a member of the Berean Baptist Church in Bridgeton, the Quarter Century Club, and the Toppers Club of Owens Illinois. She was a loving mother, devoted wife and grandmother.
She is survived by her two sons Dean Taguwa and his wife Sharon of Hopewell Twp., and Dave Taguwa and his wife Cathy of Texas, one brother Yoshio Terazawa and sister Fusie Terazawa, both of California, her four grandchildren Chris Taguwa, Jodi Meisel, Andy Taguwa, and Jennie Taguwa, her eight great grandchildren Kristina and William Taguwa, Drew, Matt, and Sammi Meisel, Riley, Carson, and Keaton Taguwa, and many nieces, nephews, and various relatives.
Kiki was predeceased by her two brothers Henry Terazawa and George Terazawa, and her sister Mieko Kanagaki.
At Kiki’s request, funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. The interment will take place in Overlook Cemetery, Bridgeton, NJ.
