Katherine Uhland's Obituary
Katherine Bundy Uhland, 89 of Upper Deerfield Twsp. died late Monday evening May 7, 2007 in South Jersey Healthcare Elmer Division. She had been a patient there for the past three weeks.
Born in Sewell, NJ the daughter of the late Albert and Catherine nee Kimberger Bundy, she was the wife of the late Howard H. Uhland who passed away in 1997.
Mrs. Uhland was a long time resident of the Upper Deerfield Twsp. area where she assisted her late husband in the operation of Howard H. Uhland Nurseries, Inc. on the Old Deerfield Pike. Katherine was the bookkeeper, retiring in 1994. She also was formerly employed with the H. Bomze and Bros. Dress Factory in Elmer for 20 years, and Mark Manufacturing Inc. in Bridgeton for 18 years.
Surviving her to cherish her memory is her brother Charles A. Bundy Sr. of Upper Deerfield Twsp. and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased besides her parents and husband by two brothers George W. Bundy and Wilbert Bundy, and two sisters Grace Kier, and Alberta Holt.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday May 11, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll?s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twsp.. The Rev. Paul Dobberstein, pastor of St. John?s Lutheran Church will officiate. The interment will take place in Overlook Cemetery, Bridgeton.
Friends may call on Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the services.
