Joseph J Brennan's Obituary
Joseph J. Brennan, 72 of Upper Pittsgrove Twp. passed away suddenly, after an extended illness on Friday evening October 8, 2010 in Manor Care, West Deptford, minutes after being admitted.
Born in Woodbury he was the son of the late Walter and Catherine nee Tanier Brennan, and the husband of the late Jean nee Cheesman Brennan, who passed away in 1999. Joseph was a former native of Gloucester City, and had been living for 10 years in Alabama, until his health started to fail. Mr. Brennan was a construction worker in Carpenters Local # 8 Philadelphia for several years until his retirement in 1993. He loved animals and was a licensed horse trainer affiliated with several race horses in the area. He also loved salt water fishing and was often either on the bay or ocean. He loved life and enjoyed spending time with his family, he recently got a chance to do just that on a trip to Ireland this past summer. He is survived by his three children Joseph K. Brennan and his wife Maryanne of Woodbury, Paul W. Brennan of Mullica Hill, and Margaret "Margie Stierle and her husband Mike of Upper Pittsgrove Twp., three brothers Eugene Brennan of Eufula, Alabama, William Brennan of Marlton, NJ, Donald Brennan of Pottstown, PA, and his sister Marrie Rood of Eufula, Alabama, eleven grandchildren. Besides his parents and wife he was predeceased by three brothers Thomas , George, and Walter Brennan.
