Johnny Collins' Obituary
Johnny Collins, 58, of Bridgeton NJ passed away suddenly June 22, 2019 in Clinton Maryland at the home of relatives. His death was sudden and unexpected. Born in Clewiston, Florida on December 18, 1960, he was the son of the late James Sr.and Eliza Jane Herring Collins. He had been a lifelong resident.
Johnny was employed until his retirement with South Jersey Extended Care in Bridgeton with the housekeeping department. He enjoyed fishing and he loved his family. He had also previously drove truck and worked on a farm.
He is survived by his six children, Jackie Jones, Johnny Collins, Telisha Collins, Joel Collins, Sarah Collins, and Scarlet Collins, brothers and sisters, Inez Collins, James Collins, Andrew Collins, Ruth Collins, and Marulzine Collins, eleven grandchildren, his companion Henrietta Ames, and several nieces, nephews, and various cousins. He was predeceased besides his parents by four brothers Alfonso Williams, Charles Williams, Freddie Allen, and Tony Collins.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday July 5, 2019 at 11:00a.m. from the Union Baptist Temple Church 29 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Bridgeton, NJ. A visitation will be held from 9:00 till 11:00a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Fordville Memorial Park, Fairfield Twp.
