John L Munson Sr.'s Obituary
John L Munson Sr. passed away suddenly on Tuesday morning February 6, 2024 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. He was 69 years old. Born in Salem August 18, 1954 he was the son of the late Frank L and Dolores Pierce Munson Jordan and the step son of John Jordan.
John was an area resident and had formerly lived in both Deptford and Pennsauken. He most recently was a resident of Lincoln Specialty Care for the past 9 years. Prior to his disability he worked as a welder and was very talented with crafting and fabricating steel. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and being with his family at cookouts and BBQ's. He was a member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Nation in Bridgeton.
John is survived by his stepfather John Jordan of Upper Deerfield Twp, his son John Munson Jr. of Pennsylvania, two sisters Rose M. Pierce and her husband Tony of Pittsgrove Twp., and Minnie F. Munson of Millville, his grandson Derrick Munson, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Wilma, brothers Frank B. Munson and Daniel I. Munson, and one sister Sharon L. Osalp.
At the family's request there will be no services. Cremation and inurnment will take place privately.
