John Anthony Mosley's Obituary
John Anthony Mosley Sr., 68 of Fairfield Twp., passed away early Friday evening in Autumn Lake Healthcare in Vineland. He had been in declining health for the past 6 years. Born in Bridgeton he was the son of the late Lewis V and Sarah (Mosley) Loatman and was a lifelong area resident.
Tony, as he was known, graduated from Bridgeton High School and spent many years working as the maintenance specialist at the former Tips Trailer Park in Fairfield Township, now called Evergreen Estates. He had a passion for all things related to tractors, particularly John Deere, and was an active member of the South Jersey Antique Tractor Club. He also formerly worked for several years at Martin Dye Corporation in Bridgeton. He was a member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Tribal Nation and enjoyed attending Pow Wows and gatherings with his family.
He is survived by his sons, John Anthony Mosley Jr. of Virginia and Howard Hiltner and his wife Michelle Oklahoma, his brothers, Alexander Mosley Sr. and Dorothy of Fairfield Twp., Anthony Loatman and Cheryl of Millville, Alfred Loatman of Bridgeton and sister-in-law Marion Loatman of Sicklerville, two grandsons, Patrick Mosley and Michael Petersen. He was predeceased besides his parents by his brother Lewis Loatman in 2022.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday November 23 at 12:00 p m at the funeral home. A visitation will be held from 11:00-12:00 pm. Interment will be in Gouldtown Memorial Park, Fairfield Twp.
