John M. Corrigan's Obituary
John M. Corrigan 90, formerly of Upper Deerfield Twsp. , died late Friday evening September 1, 2006 in the New Jersey Veterans Home, Vineland. He had been in failing health for the past year.
Born in New York the son of the late John J. and Annie Cullen Corrigan, he was the husband of Florence nee DiBuono Corrigan.
Mr. Corrigan was a veteran of the US Navy serving eight years and he also served 40 years as a Merchant Seaman with the Sailors Union of the Pacific. He was a member of the Meade Woodward Post VFW and was an avid sports fan and he particularly enjoyed the NY Mets.
Surviving him besides his wife of 51 years are a step daughter Roberta Paster, of South Dakota, one brother Joseph Corrigan of Freehold , NJ , two grandchildren Charles and Sam Childs of California , nieces and nephews Michael Corrigan, of Toms River, Patricia Corrigan, of Brick Twsp. and Donna DiBuono , of New York.
Private funeral services and interment will take place at the convenience of the family. There will be no public viewing. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll?s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twsp.
