John Fedd Sr.'s Obituary
John Fedd Sr., 78, of Salem, passed away on Sunday evening in Cooper University Medical Center, Camden after an extended illness.
Born in Hawkinsville, Georgia he was the son of the late Gus and Annie Lee Brown Fedd, and the husband of Regina (nee Watson) Fedd.
John was an area resident of Salem for the past 40 years and previously he had lived in Bridgeton. John attended Mt.Zion Baptist Church in Salem. He enjoyed cooking, and had also previously owned and operated his own catering business. John also loved bowling and playing pool. He was also was a former barber.
John is survived besides his wife by his two sons, John Derrick Nelson of Smyrna, Georgia, and Jerome David Fedd of Bridgeton; his three sisters, Willie Jacobs and Jessie Rankins of Bridgeton, and Augusta Lewis of Hawkinsville, Georgia; his nine grandchildren, Mesha Nelson, Jacole Fletcher Quarterly, Brandy Cochran, Teddy Nelson, John D. Fedd III, Jerome Cochran, Cecelia Nelson, Zarrah Nelson, and Stephanie Baker; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
He was predeceased by his son, John Fedd, Jr. and his granddaughter, Laquanda Fedd.
