John E. Robinson, Jr.'s Obituary
John E. Robinson Jr. 61 of Stow Creek Township died early Thursday evening February 16, 2006 in South Jersey Hospital Elmer, after a lengthy illness. Born in Chester, Pennsylvania the son of the late John E. Sr. and Katherine nee Kennedy Robinson, he was the wife of Wanda R.nee Wolfe Robinson, and had been an area resident for many years.
Mr. Robinson was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam era, and had previously been employed with E.I. Du Pont until his health began to fail. He was a former member of the Williamstown American Legion and a member of Faith Orthodox Presbyterian Church, in Pole Tavern. He enjoyed fishing and will be fondly remembered by his family for his keen sense of humor and witt.
Surviving besides his wife are two sons, John E. Robinson III and his wife Carrie of Pleasantville NJ, and Steven Hutchins of Cohansey, four daughters Janna L. Robinson of Fort Pierce, Fla., Suzanne M. Rivera of Washington State, Judy Ann Robinson, of Cohansey, and Mandy A. Wolfe of Cohansey, one brother Thomas Robinson of Baltimore, one sister Francis MacNameara of Galloway Township, one grandson Jonathon E. Rivera, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday February 21, 2006 in the Faith Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Pole Tavern at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Claude Taylor conducting services. The interment will take place in the Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Hopewell Township.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday morning.
