Jerry R. St. Clair, Sr.'s Obituary
Jerry R. St. Clair, 71 of Shiloh, NJ passed away Sunday afternoon September 11, 2022 at his home under the care of Hospice and with his family by his side. He had been in failing health since 2018..Born January 21, 1951 in Welch West Virginia, he was the son of the late Fred and Dulcy (Stevens) St. Clair and the husband of Sharon (nee Uhland) St. Clair. He had been an area resident since 1963.
Jerry was a mechanic by trade and had worked for 33 years at Woodruff Energy servicing the entire fleet of vehicles. He also formerly worked for National Freight and Sunnyside prior to his career with Woodruff . He loved working on trucks and cars and helped many of his family members with automobile repairs. He was a die hard NASCAR and Chevrolet fan, and loved Dale Earnhardt Sr..
Jerry kept his vehicles immaculate and was extremely proud of his 1957 Chevy Bel Air he purchased prior to his failing health. He was active in his community serving on the Shiloh School Board, and was an avid gardener and was meticulous about his yard. He enjoyed listening and playing music on his guitar, and in in his younger years he played in two bands; the "We Gents" and "Time Piece". Jerry was always seen with a smile and a joke or two and was always willing to help those in need. He was a devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather.
Surviving is his wife Sharon, his children: Jerry St. Clair Jr. and Patti Fennimore, Kelli Everland and Mike Shuman, his sisters, Doris Alabrando, Julie Caudill, and Ruth Elwell and Denny, his loving grandchildren, Alexa St. Clair, Tyler St. Clair, Hailey Everland, Emily Fennimore, Nathan Fennimore, and William Shumate, brother in laws and sister in laws, Madeline Bruso and Dallas, Susan Williams and Edison, Roseann St. Clair, Shirley St. Clair and his loving canine companion Jessica. Besides his mother and father, he was predeceased by three brothers, Thomas St. Clair, John St. Clair. and Freddy St. Clair, two sisters Brenda Arnade and an infant sister Susie St. Clair., and his father and mother in law, Barney and Jean Uhland.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday morning at 10:00am from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll's Corner Upper Deerfield Twp. A visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm and again on Friday morning one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. The interment will take place in Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell Twp.
