Jerome W. Porter III's Obituary
Jerome W. Porter III, aged 19 years of Salem, NJ passed away suddenly on July 4, 2018 as the result of an automobile accident in Lower Alloway Creek.
Born April 9, 1999, in Salem, NJ, he was the son of Jerome W. Porter II and Rebecca Jackson. Jerome was a 2017 graduate of Salem High School. He was currently employed as a cashier/clerk with HMS Host Truck Stop in Salem County. Jerome enjoyed skateboarding, listening to music, and driving his car.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his parents, Jerome W. Porter II and Rebecca Jackson, a sister, Alexis Porter, his nephew, Kamari Thomas, his paternal grandmother, Betty Porter, and maternal grandmother, Alice “Ray” Harmon, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Jerome Porter, and maternal grandfather Roger Harmon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday July 11, 2018 at 11:00a.m. from St. John Pentecostal Outreach Church, 22 New Market St. Salem, NJ. A viewing will be held from 10:00a.m. till 11:00a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion A.M.E. Fenwick Church Cemetery, Portertown, Salem County.
