Jan B. Kydd's Obituary
Jan B. Kydd, aged 69 years of Salem passed away early Saturday morning February 4, 2017 in Cooper Medical Center, Camden. Born in Brockton, Massachusetts January 13, 1948 to the late Chester Strong and Alice Kydd, and he was the husband of Robin Westfield Rhea.
Jan was a graduate of Wentworth Institute and Thomas Edison College. He was a self employed Mechanical Engineer working in Nuclear Power Plants and Nuclear Weapons for over 45 years. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol ASME and was a Ham Radio Operator. Jan was also a long time member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by his wife Robin Westfield Rhea; his sister, Nan Patelos: sister in laws: Cheryl Bennett and husband Vernon and Kim Brown; nieces and nephews: Rick Bennett, Scott Pennington, Kody Brown, Samantha Withrow, Bart Nofzinger, Tyler Nofzinger; and great nieces and nephew: Alyssa Bennett, David Bennett, and Mackenzie Withrow.
At Jan’s request there will be no funeral services. Cremation and inurnment took place at the Camden County Crematory, Waterford Twp.
