Helen F. Roush's Obituary
Helen F. Roush 76 of Shiloh passed away after a courageous battle on Tuesday morning November 13, 2012 at her residence. She had been seriously ill for some time.
Born in Garrett, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late John and Maggie (nee Sheppard) Marshall and the wife of James Roush. Helen had been an area resident for the past 54 years.
Helen was employed for 17 years as a quality control person with Leone Industries in Bridgeton, and also with Cumberland Manor in Housekeeping Dept. She and her husband James were long time members of the former Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Bridgeton, which is now New Hope Presbyterian. She loved her church and was involved with the youth groups and also formerly taught Sunday School. She loved her family and church family and friends.
Besides her husband James, Helen leaves to cherish, her two daughters Brenda Parks and her husband Durwin of Quarryville, PA, and April Hall and her husband Michael of Greenwich, her two sisters Laura Marshall of Bradshaw WV, Elsie Sheppard of Rosenhayn, and Daniel Marshall of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, her four grandchildren Matthew Parks, Lauren Bannister, Patrick Austin Jr., Bryan Austin, and her four great grandchildren Joel Parks, Lillian Parks, Kylie Bannister, and Kiera Bannister.
She was predeceased by her son James Roush Jr., her brothers Roy Marshall, Ted Marshall, Archie Marshall, and sisters Lorraine Workman, Elizabeth Mullins, and Beatrice Hitchner.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday morning November 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from New Hope Presbyterian Church 65 Hitchner Ave. Bridgeton, NJ. Helen’s pastor, Rev. Claude Taylor will officiate. The interment will follow in Overlook Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the church.
