Hazel Edna Donn's Obituary
Hazel E. Donn 94 of Vineland and formerly of Upper Deerfield Twp., passed away late Thursday evening in Genesis Millville Center, where she had been a patient for the past three weeks.
Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Irene nee Jerrell Rain and the wife of the late Charles W. Donn, who passed away in 1991. Hazel was a homemaker but had also previously been employed with M.C. Schrank, the former Kress store in Bridgeton, the Bridgeton High School Cafeteria, and the former Richards Farm and Catering at Rainbow Lake. Hazel and her late husband were former residents of Upper Deerfield Twp. until she moved to Vineland in 1998. She was a long time member of West Park United Methodist Church in Hopewell. She was family oriented and loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Surviving her are her three daughters Nancy Sloan Smith of Vineland, Sandy Bohren and her husband Fred of Buena, Carol Robbins and her companion Wheeler Fazenbaker of Vineland, one sister Geraldine Kline of Florida, six grandchildren Rudolf Meckel III and his wife Virginia, Gregory Meckel and his wife Barbara, Heidi Koering and her husband Karl, DeAnn Camut and her husband Ed, Lori Varallo and her husband John, and Nancy Lynn Bowman and her husband Doug, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by one sister Elsie R. Baker.
