Harry Jackson III's Obituary
Harry Jackson III, Esquire, of Brigantine NJ, son of Linda (nee Lockman) and Harry Jackson, Jr., of Bridgeton NJ, died tragically Friday, July 29, 2022 from a vehicular accident.
Being determined, hard-working and strongly committed from a young age; Harry started kindergarden at the age of 4, two weeks after his birthday. He graduated from Woodland Country Day School at the age of 12. Starting his love of acting in theater, he went to Cumberland Regional High school graduating at the age of 16 with many led theatrical performances.
Harry’s promising career started with acceptance at Wagner University graduating at the age of 20 magna cum laude. While at Wagner he was elected President of student government giving the graduating class address. In his junior year at the age of 19, he took the LSATA exam to attend law school and was accepted into Rutgers Law School Newark, NJ. Upon graduating from Wagner he went to Rutgers on an accelerated 2 ½ year path graduating from law school at the age of 22. In preparing for the bar exam he said, “hey Dad, I’m going to take both the New Jersey bar and the Pennsylvania bar exam at the same time”; in which his father told him “no” as most people cannot pass on the first attempt. Harry did not listen and took the exams one day apart, passing both becoming licensed to practice in both PA and NJ. Harry joined the Gaming Practice Group of the Atlantic City law firm of Fox Rothschild LLP.
During law school, Harry served as research editor for the Rutgers Law Review. His student note, titled "The Incomplete Loom: Exploring the Checkered Past and Present of American Indian Sovereignty,” was selected for publication in the Rutgers Law Review, and, upon graduation, he received the "Rutgers Academic Achievement Award for Best Student Note, Comment, or Scholarly Paper". Harry was also a member of the Rutgers Moot Court Board, and served as an attorney on the Rutgers National Team for two years. He won the school-wide Nathan Baker Mock Trial Competition in his second year.
Harry enjoyed his Tribe and served on Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Tribal council from 2016 to present, two terms as the recording secretary, and the only tribal attorney on council.

Harry also thoroughly enjoyed pinball tournaments and pinball leagues of which he was an above average player winning many in state and out of state tournaments. In his travels he would search out pinball tournaments and insert him self as a player. Harry enjoyed collecting marvel comics and caricatures and has a quite extensive Lego collection. He also enjoyed all of the movie series of “Back to the Future” and once shot a TV commercial starring as “Doc Brown” driving a real Deloren. Harry enjoyed dressing in costume for Halloween portraying many different character’s from the movie. He always did things with a big smile and a sense of humor.
The dream of his life was realized after his first date on 11/5/2019 he fell in love with his soul mate Jennifer Solly. Life and conversation would not be the same. Then on 4/20/2022 he decided to ask for her hand in marriage, flew her to London and on one knee he proposed and she said yes (ruining the men’s club). The date for the wedding was set for May 13, 2023. Jennifer is truly the love of his life.
Surviving him are are his parents Harry Jr. and Linda Jackson, his sister Lindsey Jackson, fiancée Jennifer Solly and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, tribal family and extended family and friends.
Harry’s funeral service will be held on Sunday August 7, 2022 at 4:30pm from the Fairton Christian Center 199 Fairton Millville Road, Fairton. A visitation will be held at 1:30pm till service time. Interment will be in Laurel Lawn Cemetery, Upper Deerfield Twp.
