Harlan S. Ceaser Sr.'s Obituary
Harlan S. Ceaser Sr., longtime area resident of Quinton and Salem County, passed away suddenly Tuesday November 5, 2019 in the Millville Center Genesis. He was 82 years old. Born in Mannington Twp. February 4, 1937, he was the son of the late Joseph and Sarah Elizabeth (nee Pierce) Ceaser and the husband of the late Mary Anna (nee Gould) Ceaser who passed away in 2010.
Mr. Ceaser was a mechanic by trade and had worked for several businesses including Mannington Mills, Allen Drainie Morris Transmissions, Sorantino Cadillac, and until his retirement he worked several years for Warren T E Inc. in Salem. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, riding motorcycles, working and tinkering on cars, and bowling on the Warren T E Inc. Team in a recreational league. He was a proud veteran of the US Army where he served throughout Europe. He was a humble man who loved his family and friends. Harlan is survived by his son Harlan S. Ceaser Jr. of Florida, his granddaughter Karen Ceaser, and great granddaughter Zaria Brice, several in laws, nieces , nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents and wife Mary Anna, he was predeceased by seven brothers, William, Russell, Edward, George, Joseph Jr., Martin and Elmer Ceaser, and his three sisters,
Priscilla Jane Pierce, Hanna Carney, and Juanita Johnson.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday morning November 9, 2019 at 11:00a.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. The interment will be in Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell Twp.. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:00 till 11:00a.m..
