OBITUARY FOR HAROLD (DOUG) DOUGLAS RAMSEUR JR. “Doug” was born August 31st , 1945 in Darby Pennsylvania to the late Harold D. Ramseur Sr., and Constance S. (Jones ) Ramseur. The family lived in Darby until 1958 when they moved to Read Obituary
This man right here I considered him my father. He was always there for me when I was growing up he was there when my real father wasn’t ,He taught me so many life lessons. I will always remember him an I may not be his blood but I will always be his daughter . love you dad .
I was so saddened to learn about Doug's passing . . . I had only had the pleasure of meeting Doug three times, I believe. I will not share in what capacity, but many others knew him via this way as well.
When he spoke, I HEARD him, and Doug brought me to tears more than once, with the resounding messages to me. I felt that he truly understood my plight, where others did not.
This wonderful, seemingly selfless man touched so many others in this way as well. Doug was a joy to be around. I feel that his spirit will live on in the many, MANY others - often strangers, that he touched.
I cannot fathom the grief that you, his family, must be feeling. He spoke of you and his horses with such love & JOY. I am sorry that I could not make it to Doug's services. He, more than anybody, would understand why.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I was a classmate of Doug's and always enjoyed his company. We had lots of good times at WHS. I always liked to see him at auctions and had many mini reunions. I hope everyone can focus on the many good times that were had with Doug. My prayers are with you all. Frank Stubbins class of "63".
Doug was such a caring man, he was always there to support others, including myself. I will always remember the kindness he showed me. My mom and I will miss him.
I remember his smile and how he was always quick to laugh...we worked together on a number of construction projects, he was the Treasury project manager, I was the rep for the Dept. of Human Services. He had a natural affinity for our clients...a trait I admired very much. He knew his job and he knew people and how to get the best from both. I loved him, plain and simple. He will be missed by all, I'm sure, but, as for me...I know the world is a less kind place without him in it.
I did not get a chance to talk to you for many years Couson...I thank God for the connection that I have with my Father and your son that now I able to say that you will be missed greatly for the appreciation and the understanding that you had in God's Creation.
The bird that you held in your hand is telling me a story about you are now free to rest in God Arms....I Love You Doug...

doug had a big influence on me at support group i will miss him tremendously.
Some people make the world a very special place--that was Doug. His smile, dedication and super caring for others brought so many people guidance, joy and hope. I am so glad that I got to meet and work with you throughout the years. You will truly be missed.
Cousin Doug, always had a smile and enjoyed the outdoors. Will remember his care and love for others and life. While stayling in Tallahassee, Florida he had time for me, being a younger girl cousin. I loved seeing his tropical fish. Will miss knowing you're around. Enernal love, Camellia
