Glendora I. Pierce's Obituary
Glendora I. Pierce 93, of Bridgeton passed away on Wednesday morning January 20, 2010 in South Jersey Healthcare Elmer. Although she had been in declining health for the past six years, her death was unexpected.
Born in Fort Mott, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Mary nee Pierce Cuff and the wife of the late Wilden "Woody" Pierce. She had been an area resident for most of her life, and had lived previously for 10 years in New York City. Glendora and her late husband were long time members of the First Church of the Nazarene in Bridgeton. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and making homemade quilts. Surviving her are her two brothers Nate Cuff of Oklahoma, Morris Cuff of New Brunswick, NJ, three sisters, Hester Ridgway of Fairfield Twp., Emma Seeney and Alta Worley both of Dover, Delaware, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased besides her husband and parents by two brothers Chester Cuff Sr. and Linwood Cuff and two sisters Serena Carter, and Lucy Pierce.
