I was deeply saddened to learn of German's untimely death. I knew German from BHS soccer and through his brother Victor. I remember him as a shy yet funny kid who loved to laugh. We will never know what haunted German after his return from war but I want you to know his service to this country is appreciated. May God bless you, German and the many other men and women who sacrifice so much for our country.
