George R. Jones' Obituary
George R. "Butch" Jones, 56 of Fairfield Twp. passed away unexpectedly on Saturday evening April 30, 2011 in South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center, Vineland, where he had been a patient for the past week.
Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of George L. and Esther N.nee Morgan Jones, and was a lifelong resident. Butch attended grade school in Fairfield Twp. and was a graduate of the Bridgeton High School class of 1973. He enjoyed hunting and riding motorcycles. He loved to read about anything and everything and was known by his family as the Trivial Pursuit King. He enjoyed swimming in the family pool and always looked forward to decorating outdoor Christmas lights with his brother Gary. Butch loved spending time with his daughter and grandchildren and baby sitting his nephew. He will be missed by many. Surviving him besides his mother and father George and Esther Jones of Fairfield Twp., is his daughter, Nichole Durham and her husband Gerald of Vineland, his brother Gary W. Jones of Fairfield Twp., two sisters Cheryl Favacchia and her husband Enrico of Fairfield Twp., Cynthia Spivey and her husband Richard of Somers Point, NJ, his three grandchildren Marques Brown, Niyah Durham, Deandre Durham, his nephew Vincenzo Favacchia, and many friends. Butch was predeceased by his paternal grandparents George D. and Harriet Jones, and maternal grandparents Raymond and Ella Morgan.
