George A. Morris' Obituary
George A. Morris 75 of Bridgeton passed away early Monday morning October 11, 2010 in South Jersey Extended Care, Bridgeton.
Mr. Morris was born March 7, 1935 to the late Alfred N. and Edith nee Sammons Morris, in Cheswold, Delaware. He attended both the Fork Branch and Cheswold schools. While in Delaware he was employed with George and Lynch Co., and after moving to New Jersey he worked for the former Murbeck Co. in Bridgeton and North Carolina for 10 years, prior to he and his brother opening a gas station and garage, known as Morris Transmission Shop. He enjoyed hunting and farming in his younger years, and he always had a passion for gardening and helping friends and family.
He is survived by his granddaughter Amber Mosley and son in law Ephraim Mosley III , both of Bridgeton, two brothers Allen Drainie Morris of Bridgeton and Carlos Morris and his wife Helen of Dover, Delaware, and one sister of Dover, one maternal uncle Ulysses Sammons of Dover, several sister in laws, brother in laws nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, a special caregiver and nephew Denny Cuff and care giver Antoinette Velasquez.
George was predeceased by his only daughter Suzanne Mosley, and brothers Thomas, Richard, and Wendell Morris, his three sisters Gertrude Mosley, Bertha Sammons, and Barbara Pierce.
