Franklin Rainear's Obituary
Franklin Rainear, 81 passed away Wednesday January 9, 2013 at Lincoln Specialty Nursing Center in Vineland, New Jersey. Born in Shiloh, New Jersey he was the son of the late Samuel and Emma Rainear.
Franklin had been a resident at Lincoln Specialty Nursing Center for 2 months. Prior to this he resided with his daughter Sherry D. Rainear of Lindenwold, NJ.
Franklin was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Florence M. Mihalecz-Rainear.
Franklin was a proud member of the United States Marine Corp and in the early 1950's was honorably discharged. Franklin lived the majority of his life in Bridgeton and Pittsgrove, New Jersey. He worked for 30 years at National Can (formerly Kerr Glass) in Millville, New Jersey. He enjoyed taking care of his large garden, flower beds and enjoyed many outdoor activities.
Franklin is survived by his daughters, Sherry D. Rainear, Cheryl Rainear-Durham and son-in-law Kevin Durham, and his Granddog - Gizmo.
He was predeceased besides his wife, by 3 sisters, Viola, Linda and Naomi and 2 brothers, Benjamin and Charles.
At the family's convenience, a memorial service will be held at a later time.
Franklin had a great love of animals, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the CCSCPA, 1244 N. Delsea Drive, Vineland, New Jersey 08360.
