Frank Ellsworth Davis' Obituary
Our beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Frank Ellsworth Davis, was the one the Lord decided to call home on Monday morning August 14, 2017. Frankie as he was called, answered God's call.
He was born Friday September 30, 1955 early in the morning in Bridgeton Hospital, Bridgeton, NJ to Jacob Davis Sr. and Doris Hall Davis. He was the sixth of seven children. Bruce his brother and Anna his sister, have already completed their journeys and they are already with the Lord in sweet rest.
Frankie was energetic, kind and handful from the start. He loved basketball and played it well. As an adult, he had an entrepreneurial spirit and followed his passions. He dared to visualize his dreams and worked hard at what he believed. Sometimes he succeeded and somethings, he took the path less traveled. He lived life his way, and loved his choices.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father Jacob Davis Sr., of Bridgeton, his mother Doris Hall Davis of Bridgeton, a brother Jacob Davis Jr. of Bridgeton, two sisters Dora Stocks of Bridgeton, and Paulette Davis Motley and husband Bill of Cary, NC, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends, he will surely be missed.
God saw you getting weary, so he did what was best. He came and stood beside you, and whispered, "come and rest.' You said farewell to no one, not even said good-bye. You had gone before we knew it, and only God knew why.
