Florence Rebecca Burrell's Obituary
Florence Rebecca L. Burrell, 89 of Bridgeton and formerly of Fairfield Twp. died late Monday evening December 17, 2007 in South Jersey Extended Care Nursing Center, Bridgeton. She had been in failing health for the past year.
Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of the late Eli Edison Sr. and Virginia Catherine nee Pierce Lee. Florence was employed with the former MC Shrank Co. for over twenty five years and had also worked at the former Major Clothing Co. in Bridgeton. She was a long time member of Trinity A.M.E. Church in Gouldtown and was a former secretary of Sunday School. Florence is survived by her son Floyd R. Burrell and his wife Gladys of Dover, Delaware, three grandchildren Lolita Maria , Lisa Ann, and Justin Lee Burrell, and her cousin Charles Bryant and his wife Lydia of Fairfield Twp. and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased besides her parents by two brothers Eli Eddison Lee Jr. and Warner Irving Lee, one sister Helen Virginia Robinson, and her aunt Christiana Jane Bryant. Private graveside funeral services will be held in Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell Twp., at the convenience of the family. There will be no public viewing
