Felton R Gould's Obituary
Felton Raymond “Teke” Gould., 77, of Hopewell Township New Jersey, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025, in Vineland New Jersey. A Proud Vietnam Veteran, devoted family man and gifted artisan, Felton lived a life marked by service, creativity, and deep connection to nature.
Born on October 23, 1947, in Bridgeton New Jersey, Felton was the son of the late Felton and Clara (Douglas) Gould. He was raised in Bridgeton New Jersey and attended Bridgeton High School. His early years laid the foundation for a life of resilience and dedication that would carry him through both personal and national service.
Felton served his country with honor as a decorated Vietnam Veteran. His Bravery earned him a Purple Heart which is a distinguished testament to his courage and sacrifice. His military service remained a defining chapter of his life, one that he carried with quiet pride.
Felton settled in Hopewell Twp where he spent the last 40 years building a life rooted in family and nature. An avid outdoorsman he found joy in fishing, gardening, camping, and teaching others how to fish and crab. His love for the outdoors was matched by his artistic talents- he created beautiful leather goods and intricate beadwork jewelry and items that reflected both skill and craftmanship.
Felton is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years Diane Gould (Pierce), three daughters Danna Johnson (Terence Johnson), Deesha Arias (Elkin Arias), and Takara Kelli Gould, nine grandchildren Gabriel Arias (Kristy Arias) Elkin Arias III, Dane Johnson, Kameron Hernandez, Trey Arias, Ferrin Arias, Jaden Johnson, Mckayla Hernandez, Cree Johnson, great grandson Gabriel Arias Jr., additional children Alex Hernandez, James Helverson, Brudder, Arizona Gault, three sisters Dawn Manyfeathers, Sharon Goodwin, Linda Taylor, nieces Erica Palmer, Tammy Gould, Chrishell Gould, Lashinda Gould and Danyel Bard: as well as many others who knew him affectionally.
He was predeceased in death by his parents Felton and Clara Gould (Douglas); paternal grandmother Isabell Susan (Gramma Susie) Gould, two brothers Elmer Gould and Oscar( Steve) Gould, and three sisters Marianna Caesar, Clara (Bitty) Palmer and Roberta Cole(Bobby Jean).
A Viewing will be held on Saturday April 12, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 at the Sray – Webster Funeral Home, Located on 62 Landis Ave Bridgeton NJ 08302. A Celebration of Life service will follow immediately from 1:00 to 2:00 at the same location.
