Eleanor Webster's Obituary
Eleanor Webster, 92, of Bridgeton passed away Thursday afternoon December 10, 2020 under the care of Hospice and with family by her side. She had been in declining health for the past two years. Born in Fairfield Twp., she was the daughter of the late Elwell and Leola Mosley Brown, and the wife of Gerald Webster.
Eleanor was raised in the Bridgeton area; she also lived in Germany, various parts of Europe and all over the United States relocating with her husband who was career Army. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting and she adored spending time with her grandchildren and great-grands. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Surviving her is her husband, Gerald, of 64 years, her children, Gerald Webster and his wife Gemma of Pennsville, Angel Webster and her husband Andrew Freeman of Jersey City, her two grandchildren, Anthony Webster and Dashiell Webster Freeman, and her three great grandchildren, Adrian, Aubrey, and Anna Webster. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Henry G. Brown, Alfred Brown, Siola (Scholar) Brown, Herb Ridgeway, and 3 sisters, Elizabeth Ridgeway, Belulah Oliver, and Jennie Wynder.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday morning December 16, 2020 at 11:00a.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 62 Landis Ave. at Carlls Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Hopewell Twp.
