Eleanor Gould Rainey's Obituary
Eleanor Gould Rainey, 92, wife of John Rainey of 26 Twin Oaks Drive, died Wednesday June 6, 2018 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.
She was born in Bridgeton, NJ the daughter of the late William Z. and Elizabeth Gould. She and her husband had resided at the Twin Oaks Drive address for the past 10 years, and prior on Manheim Avenue for 40 years.
Mrs. Rainey was a retired teacher and an active member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church , Bridgeton, and a past officer of the Alice Felts Organization.
Surviving her besides her husband John, are three daughters: Mrs. Eloise Hawkins-Berry (Eric) of Swedesboro, NJ, Mrs. Judy Morris (Brian) of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, and Ms. Patrice Rainey of Mays Landing, NJ, four granddaughters: Lauren, Jannel, Briana, and Erin, two grandsons: Brian Jr., and Richard, and five great grandchildren.
The Burial Office with a Requiem Eucharist will be held on Tuesday June 12, 2018 at `11:00a.m. from St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 186 East Commerce St. Bridgeton, NJ with the Reverend Ellen Rutherford officiating. The interment will be in Gouldtown Cemetery, Fairfield Twp. Friends may call between 10:00 to 11:00a.m. prior to the services at the church.
