Elaine Hancock's Obituary
Elaine Hancock, 79, of Greenwich, NJ passed away early Thursday evening November 26, 2020 at home with her family by her side. Born in Bridgeton, NJ on October 14, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Crawford and Ann Squarewood Craig, and the wife of Steve Hancock.
Elaine had previously worked as an administrator for Rawlings Radio Broadcasting in Atlanta, Georgia for 11 years, and then moving back to New Jersey, she worked for the Cumberland County Prosecutors Office for 10 years until her retirement. She was also the Assistant Clerk for Greenwich Twp. for many years.
She is survived by her husband Steve, and her son, Travis Hancock, a brother in law, David Glaspey of Greenwich, and many many friends and relatives. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Diane Craig Glaspey. Elaine's wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service in Greenwich Baptist Church will be announced in the Spring. The family suggests for those who desire, memorial contributions may be sent to the Greenwich Fire Dept. and Rescue Squad, PO Box 261 Greenwich, NJ 08323.
