Edith M. Foster's Obituary
Edith "Edie" M. Foster 61, of The Villages, Florida, and formerly of Upper Deerfield Twp passed away Wednesday morning November 11, 2009 in Cornerstone Hospice House, Florida.
Edie was born August 22, 1948 to Francis and Edith nee Pierce Ridgway, and she was the wife of Edward Foster. She and Ed had both retired and moved to Florida five years ago. Edie was formerly employed for several years as a secretary and bookkeeper for DeCou Hilltop Orchards and was a familiar face at the road side stand in Shiloh. She also worked part time at Banner Mercantile in Florida. She was a member of American Legion Post 347 Ladies Auxiliary in Lady Lake, FL and VFW Post 1795 Ladies Auxiliary. In her spare time she loved to shop, play golf and tennis. She especially adored her time spent with her twin grandsons Allen and Avery. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived besides her husband Edward by her parents Francis and Edith Ridgway of Fairfield Twp., her daughter Tara Killiebrew of Carneys Point, her two step children, Andrew and Elizabeth Foster both of Pennsylvania, her two grandsons Allen and Avery Killiebrew of Carneys Point, and several aunts, uncles , cousins and many friends.
