Earl Randolph Jr's Obituary
Earl Randolph Jr. of Hopewell Twp passed early Tuesday morning May 21, 2024 at home with his family by his side and under the care of Hospice. He was 90 years old. Born May 14, 1934 in Charleston, South Carolina he was the son of the late Earl Sr. and Rose Rice Randolph, and the husband of Christine Ford-Dyer Randolph. Earl and Christine had been married for 34 years.
Earl was raised and educated in Jersey City, NJ by his grandmother and after school joined the United States Air Force where he served five enlistments during a 20 year span involving the Korean and Viet Nam Wars until his Honorable Discharge and retirement from the military as a Supplies Systems Supervisor. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons where he enjoyed the friendships made thru the fraternity. He was also a long time member of John Wesley United Methodist Church in Bridgeton.
Earl enjoyed traveling and attending banquets of all occasions. He found great joy in giving back to people especially during the holidays and volunteered as a Tutor in many after school programs. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Surviving him besides his wife Christine are his children Richard Ford, Darrell Randolph, and Serena Wynder, a sister Shirley Taylor, and many grandchildren, great grands and nieces and nephews. Earl was predeceased by his daughter Deandrea Lynne Ford in August of 2006, and his son Kevin Randolph 3 years ago.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday June 1, 2024 at 11:00 a m from John Wesley United Methodist Church, 90 Matthew Brown Way Bridgeton, NJ. The interment will take place in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Hopewell Twp. A viewing will be held at the church prior to the services from 9:00 till 11:00 a m.
