Earl H. Cuff's Obituary
Earl H. Cuff 83, of Bridgeton, formerly of Fairfield Twp., died Wednesday January 20, 2010 in Cooper University Medical Center, Camden where he had been a patient for the past week.
Born in Bridgeton he was the son of the late Reuben and Mabel nee Pierce Cuff and the husband of the late Betty Emily nee Street Cuff. Earl was an area resident all of his life and was retired from Ecko Industries in Clayton where he worked as a mechanic, for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a former member of the American Legion Shoemaker Post 95 of Bridgeton. He also was a member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Indians of Bridgeton. Earl was a collector of what most people would call junk mail especially sweepstakes entry forms, and he loved walking out to his mailbox and sorting through his mail. He especially enjoyed spending time out to the garage with the boys at Fairfield Motors, and drinking a cold Mountain Dew. He is survived by his niece Joyce Stanton and nephew Jack Davis, and several great nieces and nephews, and his special dear friend Deleatha Mosley. He was predeceased besides his wife and parents by two brothers Jerry Cuff and Hildreth J. Lively, and a sister Anita Cuff Edwards.
